Born and raised in Washington D.C., Pete lived abroad during much of his youth, joining the Navy after graduation from the University of Maryland. He fell in love with Anacortes in 1997 when the Navy assigned him to NAS Whidbey Island, and has chosen to call it home upon his retirement as a Commander in 2003.

Debbie is a native of Anacortes and has been at Chandler square since 2002.  She is responsible for establishing and maintaining Care Plans, and leads a wonderful team of caregivers who provide assistance for our Catered Living community residents.  

Mary Staley, Community Relations Director

Mary is our marketing and community relations director, and has lived in the Anacortes area for over 15 years.  She has past experience in property management and working with senior housing issues.  Call Mary if you would like information or a tour for a friend or a family member. Ginny Sloan, Office Manager

Ginny is responsible for all financial related matters. She manages the front office, keeps the books, and manages all billings. Call Ginny if you have any questions regarding your rent or if you need information on the community.

Larry Garner, Maintenance Supervisor

Larry is responsible for the maintenance of the community and the resident's apartments. As such, he is a busy guy!   Despite the workload, Larry is always happy to answer questions or provide assistance to a resident for any reason.  Call him at 293-1300 if you need a repair or help of any kind. 

Ian McAllaster, Food Services Manager

Ian is responsible for all food related activities. He manages the kitchen, servers, dishwashers and the dining rooms, and has earned his reputation as a culinary master.  Call Ian if you need to order a tray delivered to your apartment or when you have a concern regarding the food or service. 

Heather Guerra, Housekeeping Supervisor

Heather is an Anacortes native and joined the Chandler Square team in 2005. She and her staff are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the entire facility, as well as providing weekly service for our resident's apartments.  Always eager to provide that extra attention that makes all the difference, Heather can be reached at 293-1300.
